Event overview

How does the consumer enforcement regime affect your business? Join the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and global law firm Eversheds Sutherland for practical insights on:

  • compliance
  • consumer trust
  • what the regime means for businesses

Following last year’s launch event, this session will examine how the consumer enforcement regime has worked in practice and the early lessons for businesses and consumers in Northern Ireland.

Hayley Fletcher, Senior Director of Consumer Protection at the CMA, will open with a keynote on the regime, recent CMA enforcement work and priorities. An expert panel will then discuss what this means in practice for Northern Ireland’s businesses and advisers.

The event is also an opportunity to network with local businesses, advisers and CMA representatives.

  • compliance guidance, expertise and recent research from legal and industry experts
  • an opportunity to put your questions directly to the panel
  • an opportunity to network and connect with fellow business leaders and advisers from across Northern Ireland
