The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is consulting on draft guidance on the unfair commercial practices (UCP) provisions in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) Act 2024. The draft guidance illustrates how the UCP provisions may apply in practice and is intended to help traders to comply with them.
The CMA will be running a webinar on Thursday 9 January 2025 to:
provide an overview of relevant changes to the law on unfair commercial practices and the structure and content of the CMA's draft UCP guidance
provide an opportunity for Q&A and feedback on the contents of the draft guidance
