About this webinar
The CMA has been looking into the veterinary services market for household pets since September 2023. We have now set out our provisional decision that there are competition problems in this market.
Where we find competition problems, we must consider measures (‘remedies’) to address them. In the provisional decision we have proposed a package of remedies, which we're now consulting on. We will consider responses to our consultation, and any relevant new evidence, before publishing a final decision.
This webinar will help veterinary professionals understand the proposed remedies package and what it might mean for you.
Who should attend
This webinar is for veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, and anyone else working in a veterinary practice who wants to know more about our investigation and proposed remedies.
We know you're busy, so we will publish a recording of the webinar for those who can't join it.
Why you should attend
The webinar will focus on:
what you may need to change if our proposed remedies package goes ahead
answering questions put to us by the BVA on behalf of its members and the wider veterinary sector
answering your questions – use the registration form below to submit them in advance
what will happen next in the CMA’s investigation, and how you can share your views with us
