The Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA) purpose is to help people, businesses and the UK economy by protecting competition and tackling unfair behaviour.
The Office for the Internal Market's (OIM) objective is to support the effective operation of the UK Internal Market. It assesses whether the Internal Market is operating effectively and provides expert and independent advice to the UK and devolved governments.
About this survey
The OIM launched a study of the impact of current and future regulatory restrictions on single-use plastic products by UK nations on the UK Internal Market, and on business behaviour.
The OIM wanted to hear from stakeholders about their experience of dealing with regulatory changes in relation to single-use plastics. It particularly invited views on how businesses have responded to the changes and the extent to which differences in the timing or substance of regulations have impacted policymaking and innovation across the UK.
Your personal data
The OIM may collect, use and share personal data for its work. This includes processing personal data for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Further details are set out in the CMA’s Personal Information Charter.
