The Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA) purpose is to help people, businesses and the UK economy by protecting competition and tackling unfair behaviour.

The Office for the Internal Market's (OIM) objective is to support the effective operation of the UK Internal Market. It assesses whether the Internal Market is operating effectively and provides expert and independent advice to the UK and devolved governments.

About this survey

The OIM has launched a study of the impact of current and future regulatory restrictions on single-use plastic products by UK nations on the UK Internal Market, and on business behaviour.

We want to hear from you

The OIM wants to hear from stakeholders about their experience of dealing with regulatory changes in relation to single-use plastics. The OIM particularly invites views on how businesses have responded to the changes and the extent to which differences in the timing or substance of regulations have impacted policymaking and innovation across the UK.
